Partially inspired by Gary Snyder's poem Compost, Compost was made through investigations of the conflicts in the Middle East - and how beauty manages to transcend even those wars. Death and life - peace and war. Ideas and martyrs - the tragic and the profound. I couldn't write lyrics that would express the intensity of the feelings that arose, so I sung whatever came to my mind. Another language? Maybe so. Just wordless words for beauty. Track #9 from my 2004 release, Sonoluminescence.First written as a poem of unrequited love, it became a song somewhat with the intention of winning her over.
